JOINT DISTRICT SECURITY COUNCIL MEETING HELD BETWEEN HO WEST AND SOUTH DAYI DISTRICT ASSEMBLIES

A Joint District Security Council (DISEC) meeting between the Ho West District Assembly and the South Dayi District Assembly was held on Thursday, 12th June 2025, at the Volta Regional Coordinating Council (VRCC) Residency Conference Hall in Ho. The meeting aimed to address rising security concerns within the Dededo area.

The meeting was chaired by the District Chief Executive of Ho West, Hon. Profer Francis Dusey, and co-chaired by the District Chief Executive of South Dayi, Hon. Courage Kwame Kokroko. Also in attendance were the respective District Coordinating Directors, DISEC members from both districts, traditional leaders including chiefs and elders from Tsito, Peki, and Dededo, as well as the Assembly Member for the Dededo Electoral Area.

The discussions focused on collaborative strategies to ensure lasting peace and security in Dededo and it’s surrounding communities.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with a shared commitment to peacebuilding and maintaining law and order at Dededo.
